Wilkow Majority: SLF breaks down what the latest Russiagate documents reveal

(Aug. 19, 2025): Southeastern Legal Foundation joins The Wilkow Majority to discuss Russiagate and the latest declassified documents showing that a whistleblower came forward to complain of corruption taking place in the highest levels of office following an SLF FOIA request.

SLF President Kim Hermann explains that SLF has filed many Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests over the years to expose corruption in the government, from Biden’s pseudonym emails, to his family’s business dealings in Ukraine, to exposing the truth about the Russian collusion hoax. Back in 2019, SLF sent a FOIA request to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) for any documents they had related to the Steele Dossier.  At the time, Americans did not know what they know now: that the Steele Dossier was a report compiled based on false intelligence, that it was funded by the Clinton campaign, and that it was used to request warrants from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) to spy on the Trump campaign. In response, SLF received one document that was two pages long and filed several lawsuits to hold the agencies accountable to their duties under the FOIA.

Just a few weeks ago, America learned that “there are way more documents” than the two-page document SLF received. A declassified whistleblower report makes it “very clear that documents were withheld.” The whistleblower indicated that he had documents that were responsive to SLF’s FOIA request and that they were not classified but were treated as such to avoid being produced to SLF and the public.

Hermann explains that “a pattern of behavior” plainly exists where the left continuously deflects and distracts from evidence of wrongdoing at the highest levels of government by falsifying smear campaigns against Trump and other political opponents. She adds that SLF is working tirelessly to bring these documents to light, and that SLF will not shy away from holding these officials accountable in courts of law so that Americans can restore their faith in their government again.
