Watch: SLF Executive Director Kimberly Hermann discusses release of Biden’s private emails on Just the News No Noise

(Feb. 9, 2024): Southeastern Legal Foundation’s Executive Director Kimberly Hermann joins Just the News No Noise to discuss the latest update in SLF’s lawsuit against the National Archives and Records Administration over then-Vice President Joe Biden’s personal, pseudonymous email accounts.

Southeastern Legal Foundation (SLF) filed a federal lawsuit against the National Archives and Record Administration (NARA) seeking all emails from when then-Vice President Joe Biden used three personal email accounts under a pseudonym to forward government information and discuss government business with his son, Hunter Biden, and others. NARA and other sources have confirmed that Biden used the alias names Robin Ware, Robert L. Peters, and JRB Ware.

Following briefing in federal court, NARA released the first set of emails to SLF. The emails confirm that Biden conducted official White House business on his private email account, but many emails contain redactions. SLF’s Kimberly Hermann warns that the email redactions could contain national security information and states that SLF plans to ask the judge to review the documents to determine whether the redactions are legitimate.
