Southeastern Legal Foundation welcomes Jamie McPherson as new Vice President of Philanthropy

[July 7, 2025]: Today, the Southeastern Legal Foundation (SLF) announced the hire of their new Vice President of Philanthropy Jamie McPherson. In this strategic leadership role, Jamie will spearhead donor cultivation and outreach to drive engagement and awareness of SLF’s mission to defend and uphold Americans’ constitutional rights.

Jamie has a wealth of experience in connecting donors with organizational missions to drive impact. She most recently served as the Vice President of Development for the Beacon Center of Tennessee and Beacon Impact, where she led donor relations and development operations. Jamie also brings extensive experience in media, marketing, communications, brand development, and long-term growth strategy. Jamie formerly served as the Vice President for The Tennessean and USA Today Tennessee, where she oversaw the organization’s client services and sales teams to lead innovation and revenue expansion in the divisions. Additionally, highlights of her experience in national, state and local media include Publisher of the Nashville Post, Vice President of Business Development for GS&F Advertising, and Senior roles with Time, Inc. and Gaylord Entertainment.
