SCOTUS: Trump Travel Ban Appeal from Fourth Circuit - Key Appeal Today
WASHINGTON, DC: Southeastern Legal Foundation today filed an expedited amicus brief with the U.S. Supreme Court in support of the Trump administration temporary travel restrictions on appeal from the Fourth Circuit. William Consovoy, a partner with Washington, DC-based Consovoy McCarthy Park PLLC and former Supreme Court law clerk for Justice Clarence Thomas, and SLF's legal team filed the brief to underscore the importance of constitutional and statutory authority of the Chief Executive in matters related to immigration and national security. SLF filed amicus briefs with the Fourth and Ninth Circuits earlier this year.
